Address given by Mr John Griffith, Public Orator and former Vice Principal of Jesus College, Oxford, at St. Nicholas' Church, Moreton, on Sunday 19th May 1985 to mark the 50th anniversary of the death of T. E. Lawrence The memorial service held at Moreton church, where Lawrence's funeral had taken place, and the exhibition that accompanied it, were almost the only events in Britain that marked the fiftieth anniversary of Lawrence's death.
