  • Malraux, André: 'N'était-ce donc que cela?' (pp. 21-32).This chapter from Malraux's then unpublished biography of Lawrence, Le Démon de l'Absolu, had been published in an edition of 80 copies by Editions du Pavois (1946).

  • Sims, R. G: 'The sayings and doing of T.E.' (pp. 33-43). Extracts, with editorial notes, from the collection subsequently published by the Fleece Press.

  • Wilson, Jeremy: 'Catalogue Raisonné of works by, about and relating to T. E. Lawrence, Part I: Bibliographical sources' (pp. 44-53). The material has since been incorporated into the Guide to Manuscripts and Printed Materials and is being made available on-line at the Lawrence of Arabia Factfile site.

No further printed issues of T. E. Lawrence Studies were published. It was, however, the forerunner of the T.E. Lawrence Society Journal, which Jeremy Wilson founded in 1991.

Address given by Mr John Griffith, Public Orator and former Vice Principal of Jesus College, Oxford, at St. Nicholas' Church, Moreton, on Sunday 19th May 1985 to mark the 50th anniversary of the death of T. E. Lawrence

The memorial service held at Moreton church, where Lawrence's funeral had taken place, and the exhibition that accompanied it, were almost the only events in Britain that marked the fiftieth anniversary of Lawrence's death.
