Please don't confuse:
Many
people
assume that
Castle Hill Press, the T.E. Lawrence Studies website and the T.E. Lawrence Society are linked.
They are not.
Castle Hill Press
Castle Hill Press is a private fine-press publishing imprint owned by myself and my wife Nicole.
The Society for T.E.
Lawrence Studies
The Society for T.E.
Lawrence Studies (STELS) was established in 2008 to promote scholarly
interest in T.E. Lawrence and assure the future of
the T.E. Lawrence Studies website, which currently receives over
650,000 unique visits a year. Its origins go back to the
original T.E. Lawrence Studies journal published in 1976.
Neither STELS nor the T.E. Lawrence Studies website or discussion
list have any connection with the T.E. Lawrence
Society.
The T.E. Lawrence
Society
Although registered as an educational charity, almost all the activity
organised by the committee of the TEL Society is for the benefit of
subscription-paying members rather than the general public. I am not a
member and do not go to the society's functions.
