Website: This Castle Hill Press website does not use cookies or 'spyware' of any kind, except in the online shop where the software uses cookies to remember what is in your shopping basket. This applies to most if not all online-shopping software. The only record of your visit is the server log. There are server logs for every Internet site you visit. 

General: Castle Hill Press does not sell or give away the names and addresses of its customers to third parties for marketing or any other purpose. The only exceptions to this policy (which would apply to all other publishers) are: 

• Records of transactions examined by our auditors, who are reputable accountants

• Records of transactions which we are required by contract to make available to an accountant representing the copyright owners of books we publish, should they wish to audit our royalty payments

• Any other disclosure that might be required under British law 

Notwithstanding the above, if someone were to make a misleading statement to a third party about their relationship with Castle Hill Press, we reserve the right to correct it.

If you are a customer, the information we hold about you is available to you on written request. It will consist of:

• Information you sent us when placing an order

• Your order history, needed to identify categories of customer such as series subscribers

• Your payment history, needed to administer your account and complete the company accounts

A small proportion of the correspondence that the press receives is archived. Other information is destroyed on our premises once it has no further practical value.
